YOU'RE AN IDIOT(TM) - LOGO KIT
==============================

WHICH FILE DO I USE?

  SVG/  and  PDF/
    For Illustrator: editing, resizing, print. The letters are already
    outlines (shapes), so the logo looks right on any computer, with or
    without the font installed. Both open as fully editable vectors.

  PNG/
    Quick use: slides, social posts, documents, mock-ups.
    Transparent backgrounds. 800 px for screens, 2400 px for big stuff.

  Editable type/
    Same logo, but the words are live text you can retype.
    Install the font first: Font/Anton-Regular.ttf -> right-click -> Install.
    Tracking and the stretched IDIOT are kept as letter-spacing and a
    horizontal scale, so they come in matching the outlined version.

  "logo" = for light backgrounds (ink lettering)
  "logo-reverse" = for dark backgrounds (cream lettering). It looks invisible
                    on a white preview. That's normal.
  "mark" = the sign on its own: profile pictures, favicons, small sizes.

LAYERS

  Every file is grouped the same way, and Illustrator shows the names in the
  Layers panel:
    Sign      -> Sign-border, Exclamation, Heart
    Wordmark  -> YOURE-AN, IDIOT, TM
  The sign's red border is a 12-pt stroke with round corners, so you can
  thicken or thin it without redrawing.

COLOURS

  Load them into Illustrator: Swatches panel menu -> Open Swatch Library ->
  Other Library... -> Colours/youre-an-idiot-swatches.ase

    Ink         #141210   RGB  20  18  16
    Cream       #F3EBDA   RGB 243 235 218
    Idiot Red   #C8201A   RGB 200  32  26
    Hot Red #FF4A3D RGB 255 74 61 (red on dark backgrounds only)
    Paper       #FBF6EC   RGB 251 246 236

  For print, give the printer the hex values or convert in Illustrator and
  check a proof. Reds shift the most when they go to CMYK.

HOUSE RULES (from the brand model sheet)

  - The heart stays red. Always.
  - Keep the (TM). It's part of the joke.
  - Leave clear space around the logo at least the height of the "!".
  - Smallest size for the full logo: about 120 px wide on screen (3 cm in
    print). Smaller than that, use the mark.
